Apunipima celebrates two years of support from Skytrans Featured

It is with the greatest of appreciations and respect that we pay tribute to Skytrans Airline and celebrate with them this significant milestone.

Apunipima Cape York Health Council delivers critical primary health care services to remote Cape York communities, we have over 200 staff that travel weekly to these communities and Skytrans contributes and enables us to provide this consistent care.

Skytrans has assisted Apunipima with over 2800 flights for our staff in the last year alone to communities such as Aurukun, Coen, Kowanyama and Weipa to name a few.

Paula Arnol, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Apunipima said “Our partnership has grown over the past two years, having such a service has enabled our workforce to expand and reach even further in our care to the people of Cape York, allowing us to work consistently all year round to closing the gap.”

We acknowledge and congratulate Peter, Jonathan, Mike and the whole team at Skytrans for continually providing friendly, caring and consistent flight services. Apunipima greatly appreciates the strong and diverse flight schedule that is helping Apunipima to get to where our patients need us to be, when we need to be there. This is no small feat in the aviation industry.

On behalf of Apunipima Cape York Health Council and our patients, we celebrate your achievements in the past two years and look forward to continuing to grow with you in years to come.
