Apunipima Cape York Health Council is calling on residents to start a healthy new habit by booking in for their yearly 715 Health Check.

Booking in at the same time each year is a simple way to stay on top of your health—but health workers say a yearly 715 Health Check is about more than just your health.

For Napranum Aboriginal Health Worker, Shaniqua Burke, the reason to go is clear—it’s about the people who depend on you.

“Your family needs you strong,” Shaniqua said. “Making your health a priority doesn’t just help you, it means you can be around longer with your family.”

A 715 Health Check is free and takes just 60 minutes, once a year. It gives you a clear picture of your health and can pick up anything early—before it gets serious.

Shaniqua said it’s also a great way to stay connected.

“It’s a good way to come in, meet your Apunipima team and see all the other services available.”

Make today the day you put your health first: one hour, once a year, for a stronger you and a stronger community.

Book your 715 Health Check today!
