Recently we welcomed members of Catholic Health Australia and HESTA to Apunipima and the Cape York.

Members of Apunipima took on the role of ‘Tour Guide’ as they showed the CHA and HESTA members around Aurukun and Napranum.

Aurukun visits included the Wellbeing and Health Care Centres, meeting staff from both facilities, plus visits to the Art Centre and HACC.

The Napranum visit included the TIS launch of ‘No Smoking Signage’ at Charkil Om Primary Health Care Centre.

Their final day was spent back at the Apunipima Cairns Head Office, spending the day with Senior Management discussing results and plans for our Cape York community health centres.

Members of Catholic Health Australia and HESTA found the trip a rewarding experience having been captivated with the people and scenery that these Cape York communities provide.
