The Ruchook Cultural Festival was a well-attended community event in Napranum. Well known comedian Sean Choolburra was the MC for the festival also doubling as a great health promotion spokesman. Apunipima had a stall which promoted health messages around Sexual Health, Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) and Nutrition.
The team promoted positive health messages around sugary drinks, healthy eating, preventing the spread of germs and the link to RHD and sexual health education.
Attendees were given the opportunity to enter a draw to win a shirt and/or fill out a sexual health quiz to win a bag of goodies.
